BOOK REVIEW

What's to Eat? The Milk-Free, Egg-Free, Nut-Free Food Allergy Cookbook

by Linda Marienhoff Coss

This 188 page cookbook has an incredible variety of recipes.  Recipes included in this book are soups, salads, beef, poultry, fish, pasta, potatoes, rice, vegetables, quick breads, breakfast foods, cakes, cookies, and other desserts.  Many of the recipes are also gluten free for those who are sensitive to gluten.  The baked goods do have cane sugar in them, so those who are sensitive to sugar or have candida wouldn't be able to use them.  There are some desserts, though, for an example, chocolate mousse, which have no cane sugar.

There are so many wonderful recipes in this book, that I've decided to try a new recipe every month, and share my thoughts about the recipe with you.  The recipe of the month for this month is:

Beef and Vegetable Skillet Supper
It is also gluten free, corn free and sugar free.
It's quick and easy to prepare.  It only took me 1/2 hour to make.  It's delicious.  It tastes similar to Spanish rice, but better in my opinion. It is also not too heavy of a meal, so you don't leave the table feeling overstuffed!  I highly recommend it and will definitely make it for my family again!
