Parents of Allergic Children (PAC) is a non-profit support group based in the Richmond, Virginia area. Founded in 1992, the organization provides support and information to parents whose children suffer from allergies to foods, chemicals and the environment. The main focus of the support group is for children with learning and/or behavior problems due to allergies and nutrition.
With an advisory board comprised of physicians, therapists nutritionists and compound pharmacist, Parents of Allergic Children is prepared to offer information on any aspect of allergy related topics. By providing parents with detailed instructions on how to implement an elimination diet, shop for various food substitutes in health food stores and prepare the foods in specialized cooking classes, the organization guides parents through the process of improving their child’s health through diet and nutrition
